ASME NEXT, the leading organization for early-career print and digital journalists, is launching a Virtual Book Club, which is exclusive to members but free to join. Hosted by ASME NEXT board members Alexis Jones, assistant editor at Women's Health, and Erica Sloan, assistant editor at Martha Stewart Living, the club will vote each month on a book to read by a magazine writer and will meet virtually to discuss it. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 16, from 7-8pm ET/4-5 pm PT. The club will discuss "Here for It: Or How to Save Your Soul in America," by R. Eric Thomas, playwright and senior staff writer for Elle.com.
