Erica Murphy, Senior Director of Search and Commerce, Hearst Enthusiast Group

Erica is the Senior Director of Search and Commerce for Hearst’s Enthusiast Group, where she develops content strategies that support SEO, commerce, and general editorial initiatives. After working in digital media for more than eight years, Erica has seen the landscapes in both search and commerce change dramatically, and has continually iterated on what a piece of content needs to both rank in Google and drive affiliate revenue. It’s this constant need to pivot that motivates her to continue working in this industry.

Erica has previously worked at New York Magazine, Levo, and SheFinds Media. She holds a BA in Magazine Journalism from Syracuse University.
