Social Media/Community Manager at Hotels at Home

Position Summary

Hotels at Home is looking for a Social Media/Community Manager to join a fast-growing team to launch a new digital content and e-commerce site in the hospitality, service, and home decor space. The ideal candidate for this role should be passionate about innovation and building new brands and experiences. They will be a key member of a team who builds and executes the social strategy on a daily basis. Our company is located in Fairfield, NJ. The role is remote to start.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Develop pre-launch and post-launch social strategy for a new brand and pitch social extensions that align with editorial and commerce themes.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of social media accounts and campaigns.
  • Maintain and implement social media calendar based on campaign needs and relevant news.
  • Use social publishing and scheduling tools to adhere to deadlines.
  • Develop effective social commerce strategy to drive conversion.
  • Cultivate and coordinate relationships with contributors, creators and influencers to amplify and populate posts.
  • Curate and develop a social community that elevates the brand.
  • Engage in discussion with community members to build brand awareness and foster growth.
  • Field questions/issues from community members with tact. 

Qualifications

  • 1 -3 years relevant experience managing a range of social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok and other emerging platforms for a publisher or brand.
  • Excellent editorial judgement and organizational skills, with the ability to mix creative and strategic abilities.
  • Experience creating engaging and compelling social copy in line with social media best practices. Demonstrated experience in visual storytelling and tailoring content to platform-specific needs.
  • Ability to create and commission on-brand social media assets in collaboration with the Art/Design team, providing guidance and feedback on best practices.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, social shopping best practices and implementation.
  • Proven experience tracking and analyzing social media metrics, with ability to report performance to wider group and tailor strategy to hit key goals.
