OVERVIEW

Eater is seeking a full-time Manager for its Network Development team to help support the brand's marketing and revenue objectives across multiple lines of business, sponsorships, and special projects. This individual will serve as a direct point of contact for cross-functional teams and report into the General Manager for Eater.

As Eater continues to grow both in terms of audience scale and business, this role requires a solutions-oriented individual who is able to flawlessly manage multiple work streams, all while balancing insights, data, and creativity to help grow these brands into the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the editorial leadership and revenue stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies for editorial programs, partnerships, sponsorships and other tentpole moments
  • Partner with members of the Sales team on inbound and outbound RFPs, including identifying editorial solutions for campaigns and sponsorships, and optimizing processes throughout the sales cycle to better serve internal and external partners
  • Proactively develop original program and partnership ideas that meet market demands, while building on Eater’s editorial strategies and objectives, as well as maximizing revenue potential
  • Create and maintain best-in-class marketing collateral to position Eater as a leading editorial brand in its categories, including pitch decks, case studies, competitive audits, B2B newsletters, sell sheets, and in-market positioning
  • Help build brand and agency relationships in partnership with the sales team to grow and strengthen Eater’s business, including joining sales calls and meetings to pitch and sell through editorial programs
  • Act as the main point of content for sponsorship programs from pitch to sale to the end of the campaign, coordinating communication between Editorial and other internal teams, managing and centralizing key information and deliverables, and ensuring stakeholders are delivering on all pitch and program elements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to measure, track, and analyze the performance of editorial content, sponsorship programs, and marketing campaigns to inform future decision making
  • Track and communicate feedback from internal and external partners on editorial solutions for advertisers to better understand brand needs and market trends
  • Project manage and execute special projects as needed, working closely with cross-functional teams within Vox Media and acting as the main point of contact for the Eater team

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in media, digital publishing, advertising, integrated marketing, or another related field
  • A strong interest in digital media, particularly in the food and dining space
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and experience working collaboratively with multiple teams to drive toward a shared goal
  • A knack for storytelling and a creative eye, especially when developing briefs, brand positioning, and decks
  • Maintains attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • A track record of successfully managing many projects at once
  • An ability to be responsive, adaptive, flexible, and proactive
  • Comfortable working across the Google Workspace, Google Analytics, and Asana
