Michelle Timmerman, Communications Manager, Google

Michelle Timmerman is a communications manager at Google. Prior to this, she was an associate producer at AtlanticLIVE, The Atlantic's live journalism team. There, she reported, recruited, prepared, and executed content for live events the world over. In 2014, she produced The Atlantic's first international event, which gathered startup founders and local visionaries in Abu Dhabi to talk about the Middle East's entrepreneurial ecosystem and its potential impact on the region. She started at The Atlantic through the Atlantic Media Fellowship Program, following her graduation in 2013 from Harvard. There she chaired Harvard's student life magazine, The Crimson's destination for both longform journalism and silly lists. Originally from the Bay Area, Michelle's first job on the East Coast was at Glamour as an ASME editorial intern
