We are looking for an Editorial Assistant to help take Well+Good’s editorial content to the next level across all digital platforms.

A big vision calls for a big job.  As we grow, our need for an Editorial Assistant grows with us.

You will contribute to various editorial initiatives, including: imagery research, commerce sourcing and reporting, writing tasks, editorial tracking and reporting, and more. You will work on various projects at once and will juggle both creative and administrative tasks.

Reports to: Senior Editor, Growth

Typical responsibilities for an Editorial Assistant include:

    • Assist the editorial team with production-related tasks, including inputting articles into the content management system
    • Compile content for newsletters, choosing top performers based on data 
    • Work closely with social, design, and video departments to source imagery and video content for wellandgood.com, and help ensure imagery and video best practices are met 
    • Coordinate with the design team as needed to ensure design assets are produced to specifications and handed off on time
    • Write content as needed, including SEO articles, market roundups, news stories, and personal essays
    • Work with editors as needed to research, develop, and implement special projects and packages 
    • Administrative and other duties as needed

What You Have:

    • 1-2 years working experience
    • A passion for high-quality digital content
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Ability to prioritize and manage your time
    • Experience with Wordpress and Google Suite 
    • Excellent Verbal & Non-Verbal Communication. Ability to use “Positive Language”
    • Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.

You’ll be successful if you are passionate about outstanding content, great ideas, and helping the entire team reach its full potential. The Editorial Assistant is responsible for supporting the editorial team in an administrative and editorial capacity. This is a fast-paced position and will require you to prioritize your tasks in order to see them executed in a timely way.
