Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to Nathalie Ramirez, Director of Marketing & Imprint Partnerships, you will be responsible for ideating and implementing effective campaigns across Zando’s channels. You will develop a vision for growing an engaged social media audience and ensure all creative marketing materials drive the highest possible engagement. Working closely with colleagues in Editorial, Publicity and Sales, you will stand up a strategy that supports Zando’s mission through dedicated campaigns for each Zando book and each of our Imprint Partners across our consumer-facing platforms. Your scope will encompass social media marketing, digital advertising & strategy, website content development, creative strategy, influencer activations and identifying emerging trends.

You will:

  • Own social media strategy including content development, editorial calendars and community management
  • Curate a social media marketing calendar that keeps book launches and imprint partners at the forefront while ensuring the content is engaging and relevant
  • Manage the development and publishing of all creative marketing assets including briefing freelance designers, video editors and photographers as necessary
  • Play a key role in setting up and managing internal processes for reviewing social and digital marketing plans
  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers across Instagram and TikTok
  • Spearhead innovation and forward-thinking around community growth and engagement, including connecting with representatives at all relevant platforms
  • Become an advocate for Zando in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute earned and paid campaigns
  • Establish KPIs and regularly report on key metrics
  • Implement social listening tools as necessary to drive ROI
  • Oversee the launch of additional accounts and platforms as necessary to maximize our reach



  • Minimum 4+ years-experience in a Creative and/or Social Media Marketing role
  • Experience managing Instagram, TikTok and Twitter channels for a brand
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience with analytics and campaign reporting
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of employees
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach
